Nice to virtually meet ya!
Hey, I’m Ryan — a game designer with a background in filmmaking, worldbuilding, and systems‑driven storytelling. I started in film, where I learned how to shape mood, pacing, and visual clarity, but I shifted into game development when I realized interactive stories let me build worlds without the limits of a physical set.
Since then, I’ve worked across game design, narrative, and instructional design, collaborating with teams to create experiences that are clear, engaging, and player‑focused. I love breaking down complex systems, teaching them, and watching that moment when something “clicks” for a player or student.
These days, I teach middle and high school game design, helping students build everything from board games to digital prototypes. I also teach classes in film, animation, robotics, and even theme park design — because creativity tends to spill into every corner of my work.
If you’re here from my resume, thanks for taking the time to look through my work. I’d love to talk more about design, collaboration, or the projects you’re building.
